Taleah Martin, St. Andrew's School's Head Girl recently participated in the Youth in Parliament Speech Competition and won for the Exuma-Ragged Island District. Taleah will travel to Nassau to represent the district on October 24th, where she will also be a part of the training exercises organized by the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Culture as part of the National Youth Month celebrations.
Taleah won a monitory award and will host her opponent from L.N. Coakley (featured in the picture below) to lunch at her school in the upcoming days.
Taleah is expected to do well. She will surely make St. Andrew's proud, as well as the Exuma-Ragged Island District and the Anglican Central Education Authority.
